TAX ASSISTANCE will be available at the Senior Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February to April. Please call to make an appointment.

FUEL ASSISTANCE is available at the Senior Center on Mondays and Wednesdays until the end of April. Please call to schedule an appointment.

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE - Abington's Public Health Nurse (Available for ALL Ages) now has expanded hours at the Senior Center. The Abington Board of Health in conjunction with the Council on Aging have agreed to move the Public Health Nurse's base of operations to the Senior Center. The nurse will be available to ALL Abington residents regardless of age at the following locations:
Every Monday 9:30AM - 12:30 - Abington Senior Ctr
1st Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Leavitt Terrace
2nd Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Shaw Ave
3rd Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Chestnut Glen

Fuel Assistance

Volunteers assist clients at the Abington Senior Center during the winter season to assist folks of all ages to apply for Fuel Assistance benefits. Fuel Assistance applications start November 1, 2011. Appointments are available between 9 AM and 1:00PM Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please call 781-982-2145 for to set up an appointment. November – May.
