Zumba Gold Classes have switched from Mondays to Tuesday early evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE - Abington's Public Health Nurse is available for Abington residents of ALL Ages. The Abington Board of Health in conjunction with the Council on Aging now offer the Public Health Nurse at the Abington Senior Center with expanded hours. The nurse, who is a staff member of the Norwell VNA will generally be available to Abington residents at the following locations:
Every Monday 9:30AM - 12:30 - Abington Senior Ctr
1st Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Leavitt Terrace
2nd Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Shaw Ave
3rd Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Chestnut Glen

Walk-In Health Screening for Blood Pressure, Sugar Testing, Nutrition
and Weight Counseling & Medication Instruction are held
as follows:

  • Abington Sr. Center, Monday’s  & fourth Tues. 10- 1
  • Leavitt Terrace, first Tues. 9:30 to 12:30,
  • Blanchard Gardens, second Tues. 9:30 to 12:30,
  • Chestnut Glen, third Tues. 9:30 to 12:30,

Board of Health states the nurse will be available to ALL Abington residents, regardless of age and Senior are welcome at ALL sessions.

Free Hearing Screenings and Hearing Aid Checks are held the
first Tuesday of each month at the Senior Center with John Klefeker.
