Zumba Gold Classes are now offered on Mondays from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

TAX ASSISTANCE will be available at the Senior Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February to April. Please call to make an appointment.

FUEL ASSISTANCE is available at the Senior Center on Mondays and Wednesdays until the end of April. Please call to schedule an appointment.

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE - Abington's Public Health Nurse (Available for ALL Ages) now has expanded hours at the Senior Center. The Abington Board of Health in conjunction with the Council on Aging have agreed to move the Public Health Nurse's base of operations to the Senior Center. The nurse will be available to ALL Abington residents regardless of age at the following locations:

1st Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Leavitt Terrace
2nd Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Shaw Ave
3rd Tuesday of Mth 9:30 - 12:30 - Chestnut Glen

Senior Activities

Line Dancing with leader Barbara Reeves – Fridays during the school year, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm in Abington at the big hall of St. Bridget’s Church. (455 Plymouth St.) Get happy feet.

Trips – See Connie or Rita of the Abington Senior Citizen’s Association about exciting day trips and longer. Alternatively, trips of all kinds for seniors are offered through Rita Webster’s Carefree Capers.
